SAM DONDALDSON
TALENT: JMS
11-04-07
Veteran broadcaster Sam Donaldson spends afternoon inspiring a bunch of rookies.
The guest of honor at the 50th Anniversary celebration of San Jose State University’s Radio and TV Journalism Department, Donaldson met with students at two private forums on Friday.
Friendly and charismatic, Donaldson spent his time sharing stories from his past and answering students’ questions. Donaldson’s answers covered an array of topics including his opinions on the role of the modern journalist and the way in which modern media has covered the War against Terrorism.
After two hours with students, Donaldson departed for the 50th Anniversary of Radio and TV Journalism’s National Reunion where he was the keynote speaker. Donaldson left behind a swarm of students wanting to hear more from the broadcast legend.
Austin: "I just wish he could have kept talking." (:03)
My blog isn't working quite right at the moment and won't let me customize my font. If it would allow me to do so I would bold Austin and italicize the quote, as well as change the font to courier.

I'm OK with the font, but you need to use ALL CAPS for broadcast scripts.
P2 - don't use long introductory clauses in broadcast. Instead:

Who's Austin? You need to set up a quote or SOT by identifying the speaker first.
